Many paddocks contain a creek or intermittent stream
These valuable waterbodies merit special consideration and protection. They can be excellent islands of natural regeneration.

Stock tend to tear up creeklines in their search for water. This can send silt downstream, and reduces their ability to host natural regeneration. Fencing off sections of the creek, and providing off-creek water, can be enormously helpful.
